Taurus is available with the advanced 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. Ideal for full-size sedan buyers seeking maximum fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance, this advanced engine combines direct injection of gasoline and a turbocharger to provide performance comparable to normally aspirated V6 engines offered by competitors.

The 2.0-liter EcoBoost produces 240 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. The 3.5-liter V6 is offered as standard equipment in Taurus SE, SEL and Limited series models.
