For the 2008 model year Ford adds a rear camera feature and a new King Ranch Edition to its already comprehensive Expedition lineup.
There will be four 2008 series models: XLT, Eddie Bauer, Limited and the new King Ranch model. The newly available Rearview Camera System enhances visibility when driving in reverse or hooking up a trailer.
The Ford Expedition and Expedition EL extended length models combine bold Ford truck design, functionality and toughness with high levels of interior refinement. The Expedition EL offers enhanced capability, delivering 130.8 cubic feet of cargo.
Key features include as standard: a 300-hp 5.4-liter Triton V-8, rated at 300 horsepower and 365 lb.-ft. of torque, with six-speed automatic transmission; 17-inch aluminum wheels; Class IV tow hitch, AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control; three-row Safety Canopy side air curtains; front-seat side air bags; Tire Pressure Monitoring System; floor shifter; remote keyless entry; and auxiliary audio input jack.
Available options include; power deployable running boards; 18-inch chrome aluminum wheels; premium leather seats; rear seat DVD entertainment system; power moonroof; power liftgate; heavy-duty trailer tow package; navigation system; power adjustable pedals; heated/cooled front-row seats; PowerFold fold-flat third-row seat; and 4x4 Off-Road Package.
