The 2008 Buick Enclave blends the size and capability expected of a sport utility with the quiet driving characteristics and fuel economy ratings of a luxury sedan.
The Buick is available in CX and CXL trim levels, with eight exterior and three interior colors, front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and a 275-horsepower V-6 engine mated to Buick's first six-speed automatic transmission.
The Enclave's interior is designed as an extension of the exterior, with complementing curves and warm, inviting colors. The instrument panel and other interior elements show precise attention to fit and finish. All seats have a quality, tailored appearance, with premium cloth standard on CX models and perforated and heated leather seats standard on CXL models.
Much of the Enclave's standard equipment is focused around customer convenience and comfort. Enclave's elevated footrest, or "dead pedal," adds comfort for drivers with high-heel shoes while the power liftgate activates conveniently with a touch of one button.
GM says the Enclave is going to change existing perceptions about Buick. Enclave blends a graceful exterior with an elegant interior. It appears relatively small on the outside, but is bigger on the inside with room for up to eight passengers and space for cargo.
