The Mitsubishi Lancer for 2010 delivers thrilling performance, advanced safety and cutting-edge user-technology in an aggressively styled package.
The 2010 Lancer brings sporty and bold styling with a shark-nosed front end, a distinct wedge-like profile and crisp, taut lines. Lancer is available as the value-minded DE, the well-equipped ES, the sport-tuned GTS and the All-Wheel Control turbocharged Ralliart.
For 2010, all Lancer models have been given new rear combination tail lamps with black extensions, short pole antenna, and new large side air dam design.
New for 2010 is the addition of Active Stability Control to all Lancer models. Lancer DE and ES models are powered by a 2.0-liter 152-hp aluminum 4-cylinder engine teamed to either a 5-speed manual transmission or available continuously variable transmission.
The GTS model receives a more powerful 2.4-liter 168-hp 4-cylinder engine. When equipped with the CVT, the Lancer GTS exclusively features a 6-step Sportronic mode using magnesium steering wheel paddle shifters. Extending the performance range of the Lancer is the Ralliart, equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged-intercooled 237-hp engine. The Ralliart is equipped exclusively with a 6-speed automated manual Twin-Clutch Sportronic Shift Transmission. The Ralliart also features Full-time All-Wheel Control with Active Center Differential, front helical limited-slip differential, rear limited-slip differential and Hill Start Assist.
Standard safety includes dual front airbags, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags and side curtain airbags, and a driver's knee airbag.
