Dodge Avenger's six-speed automatic transmission with Auto Stick provides a quicker standing-start, while a robust differential with increased torque capacity enhances launch performance and lower overall top-gear ratio provide a quiet ride with improved fuel economy at highway speeds.

The 2.4-liter I-4 World Engine produces 173 horsepower and 166 lb.-ft. and achieves 21 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.
